Master Tran was awarded the rank of PAL-DAN - 8th Degree Black Belt in the martial art of "Song Do Kwan Kong Soo Do" by the Universal Song Do Kwan Alliance from
Grandmaster John M. Crudup, founder and president. GM John M. Crudup is a 10th Degree Black Belt and also Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
The promotion ceremony was held at Grandmaster Dr. Juan Otero Jr. school "Center for Karate & Family
Fitness" located in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
